Waisun Confectionery Sdn Bhd was incorporated in July 1976. Through continuous expansion and development, Waisun Confectionery Sdn Bhd has become one of the market leaders in the Malaysian Confectionery Retail Industry and owns the internationally acclaimed brand name - WAISUN.
Waisun Confectionery is a manufacturing company, operated over three generations which specializes only in the production of high quality candy products specifically in producing jelly & gummy candies that focused on originality, strong flavoring and essence.
The company is located in one of the richest and diversified state of Malaysia, which is Selangor Darul Ehsan. Resting on its 87,000 sq ft factory and office space, the company is poised for new beginnings while maintaining its sweet traditions.
Waisun manufacturing facility is almost fully automated utilizing latest machinery and has a workforce of approximately 50 employees. The packaging machine is fully automated and capable of packing from 8gm up to 3000gm. We also have a production capacity of 20,000 kgs per day.
Being in Malaysia multicultural environment, all our products are certified HALAL by JAKIM Malaysia and also accredited the HACCP & ISO 9001 that provide a foundation to better customer satisfaction, staff motivation and continuous improvement. The implementation of a HACCP system will go a long way towards ensuring that Waisun products are safe for consumption.
With an annual sales growth of more than 15%, we will continue to grow and expand, affirming our company as the market leader in the confectionery business. Our success comes from product quality, retail operators, marketing strategies, packaging, not forgetting the hard work and dedication of our employees.
Through the years, our energetic marketing team has established a strong distribution network within Malaysia among all classes of trade including mass merchandisers, chain convenience stores, supermarkets, wholesalers, and distributors. Many major hypermarkets such as Tesco and Carrefour carry our products within their shops.
The Company largest export markets include Indonesia, Singapore and Taiwan. Other growing overseas markets include Hong Kong, Australia, Brunei, Taiwan, USA and UK. Waisun Confectionery will continuously strive to increase our sales locally and internationally.
