Established in 1994 Elgama Sistemos Ltd exclusively specialize in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Meter Data Collection (MDC) systems, Head End Systems (HES), Reactive Power Compensation Controllers, OEM product design, manufacturing and integration.
Elgama Sistemos designs and manufactures multi-vendor equipment enabling data communication between different protocols and systems saving costs and time.
Elgama Sistemos has designed and installed the very first national automated data metering and data collection system for the national Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator AB Lietuvos Energija (now LitGrid).
Due to the success of the project Elgama Sistemos has been also chosen to deploy similar national systems for the main distribution network operators AB Rytu Skirstomieji Tinklai and AB Vakaru Skirstomieji Tinklai (now LESTO).
Elgama Sistemos being an ISO 9001 certified equipment manufacturer also takes care of LESTO's process automation projects and has deployed over 23,000 Automated Meter Reading (AMR) and telemetry solutions.
Our modems/controllers have been installed in Automatic Meter Reading systems worldwide: Argentina, Belarus, Columbia, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Malaysia, Poland, Russia, and other.
