Wuxi Weifu Lida Catalytic Converter Co., Ltd. (WFLD) is a subsidiary company of Weifu High-Tech Group. WFLD is engaged in the R&D and manufacturing of the after-treatment system of automobile, motorcycle, and none-road machinery. In 2004, WFLD set up a joint venture named Wuxi Weifu Environmental Catalysts Co., Ltd. (WFEC), which specializes in R&D and production of catalysts. The technology level, market share and production capacity of WFLD take the leading position in China and it is the largest supplier of automobile exhaust after-treatment products for Chinese brand OEM market.
The company has a R&D team of more than 400 engineers. It has established Jiangsu Automotive Exhaust Purification Technology Research Center, Academician Workstation and WFLD Technology R&D Center. The R&D platform takes the leading position in China. WFLD has carried out close cooperation with top universities in China (Tsinghua University, Tianjin University, etc.) and undertaken 17 "National 863 Projects" and several provincial and ministerial key projects, owning 70 patents of invention and winning many important honors such as "National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize" (4 times), "Education Ministry Science and Technology Progress First Prize" and "China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award Grand Prize".
The exhaust after-treatment products, successfully developed by the company by applying the independent technology and patent, can make the vehicle emissions meet Europe/China III, IV, V, VI standard. The performance of these products is better than peer manufacturers, reaching the advanced level of the same kind products in foreign developed countries.
