AUTOBACS was born in 1974 as Japan's first store specializing in general auto parts.
While supporting the development of the car, AUTOBACS SEVEN has steadily grown due to its unique combination of value and strengths including an extensive network of stores, a large lineup of products, and skilled professionals. We aim to be the one-stop service for cars, providing our customers with the best products and services for their car life. We have the best sales record in Japan, with a network of over 600 stores nationally. We have an extensive lineup of automotive parts all in one building, while also having facilities to allow for installation of parts as well as automotive maintenance, making us the one-stop shop for all automotive parts and services. In 1991, we entered Taiwan, marking our first expansion into a foreign market. From there we have begun to expand AUTOBACS stores across the world by expanding our goods procurement and wholesale activities and opening over thirty stores in eight countries. We listen to the needs of each country and gain a foothold by purchasing excellent products and selling them in our stores around the world.
AUTOBACS SEVEN not only provides services in accordance with the varied lifestyles of our customers, but also proactively works in combination with local communities to solve the issues surrounding the use of vehicles to provide for a healthy development of a fun car culture.
