BAAC. Therefore, cooperated with the Cooperatives promotion Department and Department of Cooperative auditing, has 64 Agricultural Marketing Cooperatives (AMCs) formed at provincial level. Chiang Mai is the first province servicing and now there are AMCs servicing throughout the county. AMCs operate the business for their members. The scope of service covers at least three areas, procurement of farm inputs, sale of farm products, and other farm servicing. AMCs act for their members in procurement of farm inputs, consuming goods and others, in gathering and sale of farm produces, and in providing other farm service such as transportation and well digging for example.
Though the structural of AMCs is a provincial co-operative level but availability of branches in district together with a member service facilities unit in villages and sub-districts area. For the nationwide, BAAC joined with AMCs or established Thai Agri-Business Co., Ltd or "TABCO" to collaborate with all AMCs Tor to strengthen bargaining power for Agriculturist as a whole.
