"Property" means property, assets, interests and rights of every description, wherever situated.

??? costs、charges和expenses就像中文里所說的“花費(fèi)”、“支出”、“費(fèi)用”一樣，至多只有語意學(xué)上的差別，在法律上除非特別指明（例如“訴訟費(fèi)用”、“律師費(fèi)用”），否則指的都是金錢支出，沒有什么差別。英文的撰寫合約習(xí)慣上，喜歡像這樣盡可能把所有表達(dá)同一概念的字句全部放到合約里，一網(wǎng)打盡，以免影響權(quán)利義務(wù)關(guān)系的明確。
??? "Proceedings" means any proceedings before a court or tribunal& (including an arbitration)

??? tribunal原始的意思，指的是法庭里較地面為高的裁判官座位席（現(xiàn)在英文里的裁判席僅簡(jiǎn)單稱做the bench），后來演變?yōu)榻y(tǒng)稱"裁判官"的集合名詞（a group having the power of judging），至于現(xiàn)在的法律文件或其它相關(guān)資料里提到的 tribunal，通常和court沒有兩樣，就是"法院"的意思。
??? "Address" means－
??? (a) in relation to& an individual, his usual residential or business address; and
??? (b) in relation to a corporation, its registered or principal office.
??? “地址”一詞：
??? (a) 就自然人而言，指通常之居所或工作場(chǎng)所。
??? (b) 就公司而言，指注冊(cè)所在地或主營(yíng)業(yè)所。

??? 某概念的定義條款，如果適用范圍僅限于合約的"特定部份"，可以用“for the purpose of...”來為定義條款起頭，前面已經(jīng)說過。而如果定義條款是針對(duì)合約的“特定概念”，就用“in relation to...”來界定，例如上面所舉的例子，“地址”分別在“自然人”和“公司”兩種情況下，需要不同的定義，于是需要“in relation to”作為語句連結(jié)與概念劃分的工具。
