9月初,一位喀麥隆的紳士在TRADEMANGER上加我為好友,談得很投機,說看了網(wǎng)站，對我所經(jīng)營的產(chǎn)品很感興趣,要我把我們的價格表發(fā)到他的郵箱,收到我的價格表后,對方及時發(fā)來郵件說他要他指定的三款產(chǎn)品的10個40尺柜的貨物,要我把形式發(fā)票先發(fā)給他確認。一次性要這么多貨物，我當時第一反應(yīng)是,我遇到騙子了.做外貿(mào)2年多來,西非騙子多,見得多了,聽得多了,象西非國家尼日利亞、貝寧，騙子特多，甚至這些國家正規(guī)銀行開出的正規(guī)信用證都靠不?。《溌∏∏∥挥谖鞣?。我心存戒備，“死馬當活馬醫(yī)”，把形式發(fā)票發(fā)給對方，我們商談好的付款方式是預(yù)付30%的定金，對方收到形式發(fā)票后，發(fā)來郵件說，他正在向他客戶們收集貨款，要過幾天收集完畢才能把貨款電匯過來。我心想，對方已經(jīng)表露出了誠意，不能“一棍子打死所有人”，不能說所有西非的客戶都是騙子。我對這個客戶產(chǎn)生了信心！
數(shù)天后，對方發(fā)來郵件，說貨款已電匯到我公司賬號，未來數(shù)天請注意查收，并把銀行電匯的存根聯(lián)以附件的形式一并發(fā)到我的郵箱。我打開對方發(fā)過來的電匯存根聯(lián)，上面的銀行印章清晰可見，的確是銀行的原件真件，然而出乎我意料的是，對方電匯的不是30%的預(yù)付款，而是100%的貨款！當時我心想，這是個巨大的疑點，沒有人會這樣做生意，但如果能預(yù)先收到全部貨款，對方已經(jīng)顯示全部的誠意，這個單子沒有理由不接！我隨后發(fā)郵件和對方商談包裝、交貨期等方面的細節(jié)，同時耐心等幾天，等對方的貨款到賬后，即刻安排生產(chǎn)！隨后幾天對方又發(fā)來郵件，問我貨款收到?jīng)]有，收到要及時通知他。對方如此有誠意，我始真正對這個客戶產(chǎn)生了信心！
