1, Introduction of the perlite
The material comes from volcanic lava.It is a kind of amorphous, glassiness volcano that contains crystalline water inside. For expanded perlite has low density and low heat conductivity characters, it is widely used in construction and manufacturing fields,lightweight plasters and mortars, insulation, ceiling tiles and filter aids. In horticulture, it makes composts more open to air, while having good water-retention capacity. It is good carrier for soilless plant.Since last few years,expanded perlite is more and more popular in cryogenic use. Horticultural Applications In horticultural applications, perlite is used throughout the world as a componet of soilless growing mixed where it provides aeration and optimum moisture retention for superior plant growth. Other horticultural applications for perlite are as a carrier for fertilizer, herbicides and pesticides and for peletizing seed.

5,Application?of?the?perlite

1, Lightweight construction insulation board, partition board, acoustic board, fireproof board.
2, Insulation materials for industrial furnaces and tubes
3, Filtration agent for beer, drinking, food and medicine
4, Slag collecting material for steel melting and insulation filler for air separator
5, Filler or expanding agent for rubber, paint, plastic, TNT etc
6, Soil adjusting agent, non-soil growing substrate, pesticide cleansing agent.
Grades for different Application,
1-1, --Our normal agricultural or horticultural grade is 1-3mm,2-4mm,3-6mm,4-8mm etc, the density is around 60-80kg/m3, usually used as a component of silless growing mixes where it provides aeration and optimum moisture retention for superior plant growth, also can be as carrier for fertilizer,herbicides etc.

1-2, --Our perlite filter aid grade is 30-50mesh,50-70mesh,70-90mesh,90-120mesh,120-200mesh etc,the density is around 120-220kg/m3, usually used as filter aid for sugarmaking, beer industry and some medicine ec.

1-3, --Our perlite sand grade is 30-50mesh,50-70mesh,70-90mesh,90-120mesh etc, can be used for industry,construction and agriculture, especially for cryogenic use in steelmaking industry.

1-4, --Our construction/insulation perlite grade is widely range from 30mesh to 200mesh, with better refractoriness of 1100-1300D.C. for making perlite boards,gypsum plaster, internal/external wall insulation,paint texturing,ceiling tiles etc.

For expanded perlite,normally we use 70cm*110cm packing bag,can contains about 100Liters,using this bag,we can load 70-75M3 per 40'HQ,and 30M3 in one 20'container.
?
For other types of expanded perlite such as perlite filter aid or perlite sand,normally we use 11kg/15kg/20kg packing bag,as it’s more convenient for both loading and unloading.

Also we can pack it as your request if you have any special demand.
