IIFT is one of the most prestigious B - Schools in the country. It offers MBA (IB) major in Finance, Marketing, Trade and Operations. MBA ( International Business ) is the flagship programme of IIFT. What it particularly means is that you do a regular MBA just like offered in any other B - School, plus you are taught subjects like International Finance, Int'l Marketing etc, which bestow you with the global perspective.

I would try to list down the Pros and Cons of IIFT:

Pros-

• It is the best B-School in the country and one of the finest in Asia, if you want to pursue a career in Trade. Organisations like WTO, OECD, World Trade Centre & European Union only visit IIFT in India for recruitments
• It is among the best in the country when it comes to Finance. Considering the small batch size, the opportunities you get here are more than other B- Schools. IIFT Delhi has been winning the CFA Equity Research challenge nationally for 2 out of the last 3 years.
• If you wish to get into the booming e-commerce sector, IIFT will give you a plethora of opportunities. Refer to the latest placement report 2015,  Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, PayTM, Zovi, etc have recruited in big numbers from IIFT.
• IIFT offers you an MBA degree instead of PGDM, which is certainly an advantage as MBA degree has global recognition.
• IIFT campus is centrally located in South Delhi. You won't find many good B-school campuses in the heart of the city.
• The course curriculum is actually quite comprehensive covering a lot of subjects. Compare IIFT's course curriculum with other B-Schools and you would know.

Cons:

• The IIFT Delhi campus is only 6.5 acres in size. Rooms are triple sharing in 1st year and double sharing in 2nd year.
• Big names in consulting like McKinsey, BCG, AT Kearney have so far given IIFT a miss for their placements. However, they don't visit other campuses too at this level.
