?The application of kaolin in the synthesis of molecular sieves has been widely used in petroleum, chemistry, metallurgy and electronic technology.
Up to now, most molecular sieve factories in China have been synthesized by using alkali, water glass and aluminium hydroxide, which consume a large amount of chemicals, and block the batch production of molecular sieves. Therefore, 0.4nm zeolite molecular sieves were synthesized from kaolin and other raw materials from 1990s. The experimental results show that the molecular sieves synthesized by kaolin can be used in the process of oxygen enrichment and dewaxing of kerosene and the same as those synthesized by aluminium hydroxide and water glass.

Because of its molecular structure, the effective pore size is about 0.4nm, 0.4nm zeolite is composed of Na2O, Al2O3, SiO2 and H2O. The molecular formula is Na12[(AlO2) 12 (SiO2) 12] and 27H2O. The preparation method comprises the following steps: calcined kaolin, calcining at 600~700 ℃, metakaolin, synthesizing, filtering, washing, drying and packing. The 0.4nm zeolite with high whiteness, fine particle size, good dispersion, high exchange capacity, fast speed, with good performance, can be widely used in detergent and petroleum chemical industry, no environmental pollution, and fundamentally solve the chemical synthesis process of phosphorus pollution emissions rich problem. In addition, 0.4nm zeolite can be synthesized by melting method. Because of the high quality requirements of zeolite used in detergent auxiliaries, the whiteness of >95% is less than 4 m, and the particle size is 85%. The capacity of calcium exchange is >290mgCaCO3/g, dry zeolite and pH<11. Therefore, the production of synthetic zeolite is difficult. In recent years, the synthesis of zeolite NaY with kaolin as raw material has been successful. The synthesis method is that a part of kaolin powder is roasted at high temperature to roast soil at high temperature, and the other part of kaolin is calcined at a lower temperature to obtain metakaolin,
