    Genearlly speking, it is.

T/T, or wireless transfer, it is payment transfer between your bank account and seller’s account, if the seller’s email ID hacked, then the bank transfer can be risky, as the hackers may send their bank account to you through the seller’s email. What’s worse, the seller even don’t know what is happening.

To avoid the risk, you can confirm the banking details through other methods, for example, whatsapp, skype, etc, in this way, you can reduce the risk level.

As L/C, when you submit the needed documents, then you can have the payment made from the bank, HOWEVER, you need to investigate the L/C opening bank credit.
